"notNo" is a dynamic participatory performance that engaged the public with Ianês in a collaborative, challenging game. Utilising materials typically found in painting, drawing, and writing, the experience begins when a participant sits in the vacant chair opposite Ianês. The artist makes an initial mark on a painting block, and from that moment, the participant is invited to respond creatively with any materials at their disposal. This interaction continues until the participant chooses to leave, with a total duration of three hours. The performance has been showcased at the FLAM Performance Festival in Amsterdam and the Verbo Performance Festival at Vermelho Gallery.
