The adverbs of time (hoje/today, agora and já/now) and place (aqui/here), in Portuguese and French (là), have their respective letters laser-cut on wood and lacquered. The resulting three-dimensional letters are superimposed to form words as sculptures that can be moved and displayed in different locations, contexts, and situations, thus redefining the concepts of “here” and “now” each time they are positioned and observed.
